Ask Rihanna about Chefette!

Here’s a tip if you want to endear yourself to Rihanna: Ask her about Chefette.

“Oh, I miss that so much,” she gushed of the restaurant chain in her native Barbados.

“I’m on the road for two months at a time, three months. I really miss Chefette, their chicken and roti [curry wrap].”

The 19-year-old pop phenom was sporting a boot on her broken toe at Amalia Monday night for a dinner to celebrate her Paper magazine cover. I asked if she had any other mishaps while on tour.

“I was in a hotel lobby in Boca Raton, and I walked straight into the glass door,” she said, shaking her head. “I was so embarrassed — everybody saw it.”

Rihanna already has a horde of NYC imitators — from the look-alike who recently signed autographs for gullible fans at a midtown restaurant, to the (male) bartender at The Box who styled his hair after her “Umbrella” video.

But the junior style icon needed a hand when asked what designer she was wearing. Her friend had to shine the light from her BlackBerry down the back of her dress, before whispering in her ear.

“Castle Star,” she said sweetly.
