Continuing along on Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour, Rihanna entertained a packed house at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia last night (May 10).
And while she’s been tied up with touring as of late, you can expect a break in the Umbrella singer’s hectic schedule sometime in the near future.
“I already told everyone in my camp, ‘This year, I’m not going to work like a horse,’” Rihanna told press.
The 20-year-old Barbados beauty adds: “In 2007 I didn’t really get to enjoy anything that I achieved, because I was moving, moving, moving.”
Exhausted from her busy schedule last year Barbadian singer Rihanna is now planning to relax in the rest of 2008. In an interview to Elle magazine, the 20-year-old singer revealed that she would not be working like a horse this year. “I already told everyone in my camp, ‘This year, I’m not going to work like a horse,’” Contactmusic quoted Rihanna, as saying.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer admits that she barely remembers picking up an award at the 10 February (08) ceremony, because she was so tired and couldn”t enjoy her success even when partner Jay-Z asked her how she felt. “Jay was asking me, ‘How does it feel? How does it feel? How does it feel?’ I was like, ‘When I get home and I lock my room and there’s silence, I’ll tell you how I feel then,’” she added.

Our very own paparazzo Luis Santana, 25, was beaten and robbed early Tuesday morning near Vintage Ultra Lounge in downtown St. Pete while trying to take pictures of Chris Brown celebrating his 19th birthday.
Luis got word that Brown and Rihanna (who may or may not be Brown’s girlfriend, since they refuse to confirm it to celebrity rags) were at a private party at the club, so he headed on over to help us provide your daily dose of dish. He talked to Vintage security and was told he could take photographs outside, Santana said.
After the club closed at 2 a.m., he waited outside for another half-hour or so, catching sight of Brown as he left. He said bodyguards told the hip-hopper to get in the black Excursion or Expedition limousine waiting outside the club, where Luis managed to take a couple pics of the performer.
Tbdrihanna050708_3 Bodyguards chased him into the street, ripping his shirt and forcing him to the ground, breaking his camera flash and lens, Santana said. One guard put his knee on Santana’s jaw and when he tried to push it away, the guards took the camera, worth about $3,000.
“I was yelling, ‘Call the police! Call the police!’ ” Santana said. “Then one of the guys said, ‘I am the police.’ “
Santana said he has abrasions and bruises on his chest, back and arms. Police said there could be four male suspects who are bodyguards, but their names are unknown. The suspects left the scene in the limousine.
“I’ve shot many many celebrities and this was just another notch on my belt,” Santana said. “Then it just turned sour.”

New photos of Rihanna and Chris Brown kissing and cuddling in a Miami, Fla., KFC diner have ended reports the pair is just good friends. Dressed down and looking like any other KFC regulars, the couple went public with their much-hyped romance when the two young hitmakers realized they had been spotted by the paparazzi on Wednesday night. Rihanna immediately put her arms around Brown’s neck and planted a lingering kiss on his lips. The “Umbrella” singer, who was recently romantically linked to actor Josh Hartnett, recently confessed she and Brown were “very close” in a magazine article, but she stopped short on announcing they were lovers.
Some rumors are so ludicrous, they don’t even warrant a comment – that’s exactly how Rihanna feels about the incessant talk of her so-called “relationship” with Jay-Z.
“Well, it’s crazy that you ask me that. People know that it’s not true,” the 20-year-old Grammy winner tells Elle. “I get asked about it all the time and I’m like, ‘You’re asking, but you know the answer.’ I don’t even like to address it anymore.”
The Barbados-born singer has been romantically linked to her mentor — whom she couldn’t believe was “sitting right in front of me” during her initial audition — since their love anthem “Umbrella” hit the airwaves last year, and Rihanna understands the curiosity is part of the equation.
“I think it’s kind of a cliché question, and people know it’s not true,” she says.
Since then, Jigga has tied the knot with longtime gal pal Beyonce and Rihanna has been seen carousing with Chris Brown. While she doesn’t outright call him her beau, the starlet doesn’t exactly debunk rumors either.
“We’ve always been friends, but we’re very close now.”
